As the Senior Associate of Strategic Investments at Tether, you will play a pivotal role in our expansion into private equity investments, with a primary focus on the energy and mining sectors. Your expertise will be instrumental in identifying, evaluating, and executing investment opportunities that align with our strategic objectives. From deal analysis and due diligence to post-investment monitoring, you will be at the forefront of driving our investment initiatives forward.

Job Requirements:

• Education and Certification: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. MBA or CFA designation preferred.

• Corporate Finance Knowledge: Possess a strong understanding of corporate finance principles, including financial modeling, valuation techniques, and capital budgeting.

• Accounting Acumen: Proficient in financial accounting standards and practices, with the ability to analyze financial statements and assess the financial health of potential investees.

• Due Diligence Skills: Conduct comprehensive due diligence on potential investment targets, evaluating market dynamics, competitive positioning, regulatory environments, and other relevant factors.

• Analytical Thinking: Utilize strong analytical and critical-thinking skills to evaluate investment opportunities from multiple perspectives and identify key value drivers.

• Communication Skills: Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to effectively communicate findings and recommendations to senior management and investment committees.

• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including legal, compliance, and operations, to execute investment transactions seamlessly.

• Deal Making Expertise: Is a plus bot not required.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and G-Suite Products, particularly Microsoft Excel for financial analysis tasks.

• Demonstrated critical-thinking skills, particularly in decision-making.

• Demonstrated attention to detail in all aspects of work.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, or corporate finance roles.

• Proficiency in financial analysis tools and software, such as Excel, Bloomberg, and financial modeling platforms.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Entrepreneurial mindset with a drive to identify and pursue new investment opportunities.

• Knowledge of energy and mining sectors is a plus, but not required.
